This rudder mounts on the transom of the kayak and is suitable for larger kayaks like double sea kayaks. Control cords are used to lift and lower the blade that can rotate vertically 270 degrees to lay flat on rear deck. The blade extends about 15" below the deck level on the transom.

Blade is hydrodynamic in shape and reduces drag by 30% compared with flat plate blades.
