July 2008 - Update on the kayak sea trial. Having paddled the kayak a number of times now I'm very pleased with how it moves. Good straight line tracking, fast turns for a long boat, and good stability. I've been working to sort out some build quality issues and now these have been solved the kayak will be on the market in a few of weeks. Vendor inquiries welcome.

It's looking like the fiberglass version will be about 35 lbs.

June 2008 - Due to increases in postage cost (oil cost I guess), I'm changing the shipping from USPS Priority Post to USPS Parcel Post to control cost. This may result in an extra day or two in getting items in the post.

Also there will be an increase in product cost as the US dollar has lost so much value against other currencies, it's impossible for me to keep some items at existing prices and still make an honest buck.

March 8th - 2008 - Season Opener Race.

The first race of the season and the first race for the new kayak, now offically named the PXT Diamond. (The deck sparkles like diamonds as the water freezes to it..)

The race results are very pleasing taking first place by a couple of seconds. So now I know the kayak has good comparable speed. (Second place went to a Fenn racing surf ski)
