"OK, this is an unabashed PLUG for the Gurney Gears Bumfortable seat. I bought a couple from Phil Taylor back when I had the F1, and thought it was pretty comfortable. But since then, I've found that it was the cure for several ill fitting kayaks. I stripped out the factory seat in a Stratus that I raced at Two Harbors, used it as a drop-in in a boat Cal built, and finally this afternoon stuffed it in the cockpit of my Match II wildwater boat that *had* a bikini seat.molded in. Note the emphasis on 'had'. Bikini seats are aptly named - if you shouldn't wear a bikini bottom, you won't fit those freaking seats!. It fell victim to a bit of quick work with a Dremel tool and cutoff wheel. The Bumfortable dropped right in, and off I went for the first comfortable paddle I've had in that boat. Without question, one of the true saviours of the backside."
